Special Guest Preacher this Sunday--Rev. Dr. Dave Worth

We are honored to invite the Rev. Dr. Dave Worth to our pulpit this Sunday. Dave retired at the end of 2013 having served in Presbyterian churches for forty-seven years (River Forest, Illinois; Solana Beach, Malibu and Beverly Hills, California). Since retirement Dave has remained active in ministry, serving on Presbytery committees, long term fire recovery teams, guest preaching occasionally, and mentoring young pastors.

Dave and his wife Nancy (60 years in June) share a love for Jesus and each other. They enjoy travel, sports of all kinds, and the wonderful world of grandparenting. Living in the country gives multiple opportunities for farming and gardening.

Easter Lily Dedications

Pali Pres is once again offering the opportunity to dedicate Easter lilies! Starting today, follow these two steps to complete your donation/dedication.

1) Visit our secure payment center to make your donation. Please do not enter your dedication(s) on this page. Lilies are $15 each.

2) Immediately thereafter, please email Operations Manager, Will Saunders, with your dedication(s). Multiple dedications can be attached to a single lily.

The lilies will adorn both our PPPC on-site worship location and the BPC sanctuary on Easter Sunday! Following the services, those who donated are free to take their lilies home to enjoy them!

Change for Change Campaign 2026

In the weeks leading up to Easter, the Children and Family Ministries (CFM) has traditionally organized a successful fundraising campaign called “Change for Change.” This year, we warmly invite you to join us in this meaningful endeavor. All proceeds from the campaign will be donated to the Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness. Here’s how you can participate:

1) On March 22nd or March 29th, after worship or during coffee hour, please pick up a “Change for Change” donation box. Each box is uniquely assembled and decorated by our children in the Sunday School ministry.

2) Fill the donation box with your spare change (bills and checks are also just fine)!

3) Bring your donation box to church on Easter Sunday, April 5th, for a special dedication ceremony.

Every penny collected through these “Change for Change” boxes will help spread the hope and joy of Easter to those who are less fortunate. Given the challenges our community continues to face, this ministry’s relevance is more evident than ever. Let’s come together and make a positive impact on someone’s life. Thank you for your love and support!

Giving Thanks for a Successful Session Retreat

Good News Corner

Our former Director of Music, Jaco Wong, will be conducting the Harker School Orchestra & Jazz Ensemble at the world-renowned Royce Hall on Monday, March 30th!

The concert will showcase a wide repertoire, including early jazz by Duke Ellington, modern big band selections, and orchestral works by Missy Mazzoli, Holst, and Gershwin’s iconic An American in Paris. Audiences will also enjoy selections from beloved film scores and video game soundtracks, bringing the energy and excitement of the studio orchestra to the concert stage. Click here for more info.

Volunteers Needed for Easter Egg Hunt!

The Children & Family Ministries Committee is seeking volunteers for for this year’s Easter egg hunt on April 4th. We would be delighted if you could sign up for any of the following roles:

1. Filling Easter eggs: We will provide bags containing 24 plastic eggs. You can contribute by donating the contents of the eggs and filling them. We are in need nut-free candy, small toys, and stickers to fill the eggs. No loose jelly beans please.

2. Craft Table: Assist children in decorating Easter-themed bags for egg hunting.

3. Event: Help us hide eggs at 10 AM before the children arrive.

Please collect your bag of Easter eggs or sign up to volunteer during our coffee hour this Sunday. Kindly return the Easter eggs next Sunday, March 29th. Contact Lucy Garcia with questions or to help out! We appreciate your support.

You Can Be a Snack Angel!

We are looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday Snack Angels! On the snack table each Sunday is a sign up sheet for you to select a date to provide snacks for our church family.

If you are unable to physically pick up and deliver the snacks yourself, please make a note next to your name and you can donate $100 to cover the cost of all the food for one Sunday. This donation can also be made online HERE. Please contact Elder Lynette Shishido, our snack captain, or Pastor Grace for more information and to sign up!
