Good News Corner

As a gesture of gratitude to Culver City Presbyterian Church, our church donated funds to help them refurbish their pews. Pastor Matt (pictured here with their pastor, Pastor Frances) was able to attend the dedication of these new pews.

We will always remember Culver City’s amazing hospitality and generosity to us after the fires!

The Passing of Margaret “Scottie” Dealey

It is with a sad heart we share the news that our long-time member, Margaret “Scottie” Dealey, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 1st. Scottie was a faithful member and a beloved friend to many in our church. We will miss her dearly, even as we know she now comfortably rests in the arms of her Savior.

Thanksgiving Gift Bag Making Morning

We invite our Pali Pres families (of all ages) to lend a helping hand as we join our friends at Brentwood Presbyterian Church in assembling 450 food bags filled with Thanksgiving dinner, bringing comfort and joy to families in need. Your participation will make a meaningful difference this holiday season!

Monthly Congregational Forum

To help provide our Pali Pres family with information and updates related to our church’s recovery from the January wildfires, the PPPC Session has scheduled “Congregational Forums” on the third Wednesday of each month. The pastors, elders, and members of our church’s “Recovery Executive Team” will be available to present updates on all that we are working on and to hear and address questions from church members and friends.

The next Congregational Forum will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at 6:30pm via Zoom. Please join us via the information below.

You Can Be a Snack Angel!

We are looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday Snack Angels! On the snack table each Sunday is a sign up sheet for you to select a date to provide snacks for our church family.

If you are unable to physically pick up and deliver the snacks yourself, please make a note next to your name and you can donate $100 to cover the cost of all the food for one Sunday. This donation can also be made online HERE. Please contact Elder Lynnette Shishido, our snack captain, or Pastor Grace for more information and to sign up!
