Brentwood Presbyterian Church is located at 12000 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, 90049. Ample parking can be found in the parking garage off of Bundy Ave (at the intersection of Bundy and San Vicente, directly behind the church) and on nearby side streets.

Welcome to our Pulpit, Rev. Dr. Steve Yamaguchi!

This Sunday we welcome to our pulpit guest preacher Steve Yamaguchi, who is a retired member of our Pacific Presbytery. Steve was born and raised in South Los Angeles and recently retired from the pastorate at Tokyo Union Church in Japan (2020-2024) where Pastor Matt was also a pastor from 2009-2013. Steve has also served at Grace Pres. Church in Long Beach and at Immanuel Pres. Church on Wilshire Blvd. For eleven years he was the Executive Presbyter of Los Ranchos Presbytery, from which he went to be Dean of Students and Asst. Prof. of Pastoral Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. His wife, Alison, is a devoted pediatric physical therapist and they have two adult children. Steve enjoys bicycling and guitar and is also very enthused about serving on the board of Princeton Theological Seminary. Welcome, Steve!

Congregational Meeting - Sunday, May 18th

The PPPC Session has called a Congregational Meeting for May 18th after worship. The congregation will hear reports from the Finance Committee, Personnel Committee, and Nominating Committee, as well as information and updates related to our recovery from the January fire (including debris removal, manse remediation, and insurance matters). The meeting will be held in the Garden Room at Brentwood Presbyterian Church at approximately 3:30pm and will not be live-streamed.

Sunday School Open House

Please join us this Sunday, May 4th, as we will be hosting an “Open House” at 2PM. This is an opportunity for parents to tour our new Sunday School spaces, receive pertinent information, and make any inquiries about our program. Change for Change Recap

The Change for Change Campaign, in partnership with the Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness, has successfully raised over $1,000 to benefit People Concern! Thank you for your generous donations and your BIG hearts toward those in need of food, shelter, and basic necessities. We are so happy to contribute and feel confident that the Lord will multiply our efforts a thousand times!

Wednesday Prayer Group

Please join us on Wednesday, May 7th, at 7 PM, for an all-church prayer meeting on Zoom. Pastor Matt and Pastor Grace will lead us through a time of scripture, prayer, and sharing. We hope that you can all join us for a time of healing.
