What a Blessing!

This past Sunday, Palm Sunday, we held our first worship service at Brentwood Presbyterian Church (BPC).  It was such a blessing to be together as a Pali Pres family to begin Holy Week.

The BPC sanctuary will continue to be our church “home” for the foreseeable future; let us join together in a prayer of thanksgiving for the hospitality being shown to us!

Worship services will be held at 2:30pm and will also be live-streamed.  Recordings of the services will also be available via our YouTube page.

Brentwood Presbyterian Church is located at 12000 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, 90049. Ample parking can be found in the parking garage off of Bundy Ave (at the intersection of Bundy and San Vicente, directly behind the church) and on nearby side streets.

We hope to see you there this Sunday as we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord!

Good Friday Service - April 18 at 7pm

Join us in the Brentwood Pres sanctuary for a tender remembrance of Jesus’ final hours before his arrest, trial, and crucifixion. Through music, prayer, and a dramatic reading of the passion narrative, we will reflect on God’s wondrous love for this world through the sacrifice of his only Son. The service will be in-person only (not live-streamed).

Remember to Bring Your Change for Change Boxes on Easter Sunday!

Every penny collected through these “Change for Change” boxes will go to the Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness, to help spread the hope and joy of Easter to those who are less fortunate. More than ever this ministry is relevant, in light of all our community has been through this year. Let’s all chip in to help make a change in someone’s life. Thank you for your love and support!

Wednesday Prayer Group

Rooted in Resilience: A Palisades Gathering

The organization, ‘1Pali’, has invited all Palisadians to attend ‘Rooted in Resilience: A Palisades Gathering’ on Saturday, April 19th at Clover Park in Santa Monica (2600 Ocean Park Blvd).

The event is aimed to connect people, inspire hope, and celebrate the strength and resilience of our incredible community. Enjoy live music, food trucks, wellness, kids’ fun, and a community art project!

While the event runs from 10am-3pm, we hope all Pali Pres members and friends will FIRST attend our Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch (which will conclude at noon) before heading over to 1Pali.

Snack Angels

Thank you to Sunday’s snack angel, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, who came with their pastor, Pastor Clark, and a lovely small delegation of deacons to serve our snacks! They stayed for worship, and we were able to thank them personally for their ministry to us.
