Operation Kindness Recap

A big thank you to everyone in our congregation who participated in our food pantry drive, "Operation Kindness." We are excited to share these very needed goods with the food pantry at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Please join us on January 14th when we take all the donated items to their church campus and help distribute them. A huge thank you to our Elder of Missions and Outreach, David Wood, for coordinating!

It's Not Too Late to Join the Advent Bible Study

Pastor Matt and Pastor Grace invite you to prepare your heart for the coming of the Christ Child by joining in a conversation around the study, “A Season of Hope and Anticipation: Advent Themes in the Four Gospels.”

Angel Tree Update

Amazing news: all of our Angel Tree Ministry gift tags were taken on the very first Sunday that they were offered! If you took home a tag for purchasing a present for a child, please be sure to bring the wrapped gift back to church by December 21st.

One-Year Anniversary of the January Wildfire

Plans are underway to commemorate the anniversary of the Palisades Fire here at Pali Pres. We hope you will join us for one or more of these special gatherings. We will come before God with prayer, hope, and hearts of faith as we also collectively remember, grieve, and name the pain and frustration that many of us still feel.

May the Lord grant us, and all who were impacted by the January fires, solace and strength as we mark this anniversary and continue our journey of healing and restoration.

Evening Prayer Service -- Tuesday, January 6th at 7pm, BPC sanctuary

Morning Prayer Gathering -- Wednesday, January 7th (exact time TBD), onsite at PPPC campus

Special Fellowship Hour -- Sunday, January 11th after worship, BPC Garden Room

What a special day it was last Sunday as we welcomed Pastor Elizabeth to the pulpit and dedicated our new communion goblets that she made for us!

There’s Always Time for Cookies

Thank you to all the incredible women who came bearing food and cookies to our annual Women's Cookie Exchange this past Sunday. We made A LOT of delicious cookie boxes for our community to spread Christmas love! A special "thank you" goes out to Michelle Oliver and Joan Kaczorowski for all the planning.

You Can Be a Snack Angel!

We are looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday Snack Angels! On the snack table each Sunday is a sign up sheet for you to select a date to provide snacks for our church family.

If you are unable to physically pick up and deliver the snacks yourself, please make a note next to your name and you can donate $100 to cover the cost of all the food for one Sunday. This donation can also be made online HERE. Please contact Elder Lynnette Shishido, our snack captain, or Pastor Grace for more information and to sign up!

We are so thankful to last Sunday’s Snack Angels, Nina & Dave Kidd, for graciously providing coffee and refreshments. What a blessing! This week’s refreshments are provided by The Draper Family!
