The Passing of Margaret “Scottie” Dealey

It is with a sad heart we share the news that our long-time member, Margaret “Scottie” Dealey, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 1st. Scottie was a faithful member and a beloved friend to many in our church. We will miss her dearly, even as we know she now comfortably rests in the arms of her Savior.

Please hold Dave Dealey, their family and friends in your prayers as they grieve her passing. Plans for a memorial service are still being decided and will be shared once they are finalized.

Thanksgiving Gift Bag Making Morning

Saturday, November 22, 9am - Noon (BPC Gymnasium)

We invite our Pali Pres families (of all ages) to lend a helping hand as we join our friends at Brentwood Presbyterian Church in assembling 450 food bags filled with Thanksgiving dinner, bringing comfort and joy to families in need. Your participation will make a meaningful difference this holiday season!

Good News Corner

Pastor Matt and Pastor Grace visited Frank and Tove Hoch to bless their house in the Palisades! Their house was spared by the fires, but sustained damage and needed to go through much remediation. They are grateful to be back home.

Please let your pastors know if you are returning back to your home and you would like a short visit with them to have your home blessed with a reading of scripture and a prayer!

You Can Be a Snack Angel!

We are looking for volunteers to serve as Sunday Snack Angels! On the snack table each Sunday is a sign up sheet for you to select a date to provide snacks for our church family.

If you are unable to physically pick up and deliver the snacks yourself, please make a note next to your name and you can donate $100 to cover the cost of all the food for one Sunday. This donation can also be made online HERE. Please contact Elder Lynnette Shishido, our snack captain, or Pastor Grace for more information and to sign up!

We are so thankful to last Sunday’s Snack Angels, The Rodriguez Family, for graciously providing coffee and refreshments. What a blessing! This week’s refreshments are provided by Laurie & Peter Rasmussen!
