Pali Pres Congregational Meeting

The members and friends of PPPC gathered this past Sunday for an important Congregational Meeting. We reviewed a number of matters related to the impact of the January wildfires on our church family and campus. It was a valuable time to share information, ask questions, and reflect together as God's people on the road we have already traveled as well as the road that lies ahead of us.

A Prayer for Memorial Day

God, your holy word promises that one day peace will reign in human hearts, and war will be no more. This Memorial Day weekend, we come before you desiring peace, justice, and liberty for all people. We thank you for the men and women in every generation who have willingly walked into harm’s way in order that we might enjoy such freedom. Heal their memories, honor their service, bless their sacrifice, and comfort their loved ones. May they be remembered in this life, even as they are entrusted to you in the life everlasting. Amen.

Wednesday Prayer Group

Bowling Family Playdate

This past Saturday we had a WONDERFUL time at our family bowling playdate at Lucky Strike in Mar Vista. Stay tuned for other family playdates scheduled for this summer. We hope you can join us for a time of fellowship and fun!

You Can Be a Snack Angel!

We have been blessed the last few months by so many churches, friends, and organizations who have donated food and funds for our coffee fellowship hour after church.

We are now looking for volunteers from within our own Pali Pres community. Many of you have mentioned that you would like to be a snack angel, and we are so grateful! On the snack table each Sunday is a sign up sheet for you to select a date to provide snacks for our church family.

If you are unable to physically pick up and deliver the snacks yourself, please make a note next to your name and you can donate $125 to cover the cost of all the food for one Sunday. Please consider joining together with friends and making it a team effort! Thank you for continuing this very important ministry to our church.

We are so thankful to last Sunday’s snack angel, St. Peter’s by the Sea, for graciously providing coffee and refreshments.  What a blessing! St. Peter’s by the Sea is providing refreshments again this Sunday!

Westside Philharmonic Concert & Luncheon
