Dear Pali Pres Family,

As I reflect on my first year at Pali Pres, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude because of the outpouring of love and support I have received as the Director of Children and Family Ministries. It has been a joy getting to know so many of you and working with your precious children and grandchildren in Sunday School and our special events. Thank you for all the big and small ways you have contributed to making this ministry shine in our community. Everything we accomplished this year was planned and executed with excellence thanks to our wonderful volunteers and staff working together. We make a fabulous team! If you haven’t had the chance to participate with us, please consider doing so in 2024. We promise you will not be disappointed and it will be a blessing!

Celebrating Las Posadas!

Thank you to everyone who attended Las Posadas, especially those who volunteered and worked so hard to make this special day a success! What a cute and heartwarming way to tell the story of the birth of Jesus!

Mustard Seed Ministry

Many thanks to our Mustard Seed Ministry volunteers for knitting blankets, shawls and teddy bears. These prayer-filled items have been delivered to County USC Hospital, to help comfort those in need.

Bringing refreshments on Sunday mornings to share with our church is a loving and very important ministry. Thank you to all of you who have been doing this so faithfully. Please contact Refreshment Coordinator Jan Gong to sign up to serve.

Sunday Sanctuary Flowers

This week’s flowers are in memory of Rev. Shelby Larsen, from her loving family.

We invite all of our church members and friends to provide donations for flowers to adorn our sanctuary, along with a special dedication of your choosing. The cost is $75 per week.

Please contact Will Saunders and the church will order flowers from a local florist to be placed in the chancel on Sunday morning.

Our Deacons will distribute the flowers to one of our members/friends after the service.

Thank you for helping make our sanctuary even more beautiful!
