Fall 2015 Adult Education Schedule
NEW Women’s Bible Study Starting Monday, September 14th!
Come enjoy an in-depth study of the Book of Romans with other women of faith. We’ll dive deep into one chapter at a time, with substantial at-home self-study homework before we gather to share insights as a group.
We will meet in the church library every second Monday from 5:15 to 6:30 pm… so mark your calendars now for these specific eight dates: September 14 and 28, October 12 and 26, November 9 and 23, December 7 and 21.

Food For Thought
The highly successful FOOD FOR THOUGHT series will resume on September 24th.
The guest speaker in the 11th presentation of this program will be Dave Dealey, the son of Comdr. Samuel David Dealey USN, who was the first and only Commanding Officer of the Submarine USS HARDER.
His will be a personalized story of his father’s naval career and the famous HARDER. Comdr. Dealey was one of the most decorated men of W.W.II, Having received, among other awards, the Congressional Medal of Honor (posthumously), 4 Navy Crosses, the Silver Star, The Purple Heart and the Presidential Unit Citation.
The speaker will emphasize the many coincidental events and ironies which led up to the tragic loss of the HARDER, with all hands, on its 6th and final patrol in August 1944.
Dave Dealey is a graduate of Santa Monica High School and UC Berkeley and is a retired attorney. He is a longtime active member of PPPC, the Palisades Optimist Club and the American Legion, Post 283.
