“How to Read the Bible (and understand it!)” Every Sunday following worship

Much Study Is a Weariness of the Flesh!

(Ecclesiastes 12:12)

King Solomon was right.  So much of our study, even our study of the Bible, can wear us out, and leave us crying “no more!”  And yet, at the same time, we have a deep hunger to be hearing from God so we can find healing and direction in our lives.  What are we therefore to do?

Thanks to the wonder of modern technology – with clever animation and engaging presentation – we now have a way to engage the issue that will not weary, or we’ll give you your money back.  (Just kidding, it’s all free.)

Please join us in the library following worship on Sunday mornings (11:20 am – 12:00 at the latest) as we begin exploring the Bible Project video series.  These are brief, artfully-presented tellings of Scripture’s story – designed to encourage us to explore the Bible for ourselves.  We’ll begin with a few basics: “What is the Bible?” “The Story of the Bible” etc. before diving into Genesis and the books which immediately follow.

No experience required.  Just a sense of humor and an open mind.  Please contact Steve Smith or Nancy Gillette for more information.
